Program Delivery Team Vice Chairperson

Target Contributor
The level of person serving as a Program Delivery Team Vice Chairperson in WEI ranges from supervisors to very senior positions at any utility. This level is typically defined by the common peer group within a particular discipline.

Your Role as a Program Delivery Team Vice Chairperson
You, along with the Chair and Program Delivery Team, will be instrumental in the coordination and delivery of a focused Western Energy Institute meeting. You'll assist the Chair and ultimately step into that role. Working with the Chairperson and WEI staff, you'll help facilitate planning discussions, promote participation and assist in meeting management.

Responsibilities
In addition to providing support to Chair as needed and participating as a Program Delivery Team member, the Vice Chair is called upon to:

  • Orient new volunteer leaders
  • Lead
With the Chair, you may be called upon to:
  • Determine the objectives/goals of the meeting
  • Assist in defining the target audience and encourage participation
  • Coordinate the meeting process, including planning, conducting and follow up, as needed
  • Develop the meeting agenda, with input from PDT members and past delegates
  • Communicate industry reports as appropriate
