Target Contributor
Mentors also serve as representatives on WEI's Executive Planning Committee. They should be at a high enough level within their utility that they can lend their management experience and association experience to up and comers in the WEI organization.
Your Role as a Mentor
Mentors provide guidance to meeting chairpersons and serve as a resource for external contacts. As a role model, mentors are called upon to provide leadership, vision and motivation in the preparation and planning of Western Energy Institute programs. As a mentor you will be a part of the Executive Planning Committee, networking with industry peers to determine workshop goals and objectives. The Benefits

The Commitment
- Term - one year
- Attendance (may include travel):
- Meeting to support their chair
- Summer Leadership Training and Orientation
- Ongoing Program Delivery Team meetings (in person or via conference call)
- Executive Planning Committee meetings
- Annual Management Conference

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to program chairs
- Identify industry contracts and resources
- Assist in defining target audiences
