PGE Welcomes Reuben Plantico as Director of Environmental and Sustainability Policy

Portland General Electric (PGE) is pleased to welcome Reuben Plantico as PGE’s director of environmental and sustainability policy.

 

In his new position, Plantico will lead PGE’s environmental policy team in area of climate change advocacy, federal and state environmental regulation, and stewardship of natural resources.

 

“Reuben’s insight and expertise will be invaluable as we collaborate with our partners on a host of environmental issues including global climate change,” said Carol Dillin, vice president, public policy.

 

Plantico brings nearly 30 years experience to the position including more than two decades of experience working on Clean Air Act and resource issues for utilities, as well as three years’ experience serving in the U.S. Department of the Interior. For the past year, Reuben has consulted with PGE on a variety of environmental and climate change issues. 

 

Plantico holds a law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School. He also holds a master’s degree in public policy and administration from the University of Wisconsin, and a bachelor’s degree from Lawrence University in Wisconsin.
