Oregon Officials to Appeal FERC Approval of Jordan Cove Governor Ted Kulongoski and Oregon Attorney General John Kroger said in December that they would make a formal request to the FERC to re-evaluate its approval of the Jordan Cove LNG terminal and related pipeline.
Saying that the agency’s approval failed to address state concerns about the project’s impacts on local waterways, Kulongoski and Kroger added that they would address their concerns to a federal appeals court if FERC does not respond. The Governor and Attorney General have also been working to reverse FERC’s approval of another proposed LNG project, Bradwood Landing. |
