Vice Chair at Large Ron Jibson President & CEO Questar Gas Company

Ronald W. Jibson is President and CEO of Questar Gas Company and Senior Vice President of Questar Corporation. As President of Questar Gas, he has responsibility for distribution of natural gas services to 880,000 customers in Utah , Southern Idaho and Southwestern Wyoming . Prior to his current assignment, Ron has held the positions of Executive Vice President, Vice President of Operations, General Manager of Operations, Operations Manager and Director of Engineering. He has been with Questar Corporation for the past 27 years where he started as a design engineer.

Ron graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and later received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Westminster College . He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Utah .

Ron's industry involvement includes being a member of the board of directors of the American Gas Association and serves on the Western Energy Institute board of directors. His involvement with Utah State University includes serving as a member of the Board of Trustees and a member of the President's capital campaign steering committee. Locally, he serves on the United Way of Salt Lake board of directors, Utah Shakespearean Festival board of governors, and as past chair of the Junior Achievement of Utah board of directors. He also serves on the Board of Economic Development Corporation of Utah, Utah Foundation and Envision Utah.

Ron and his wife, Janet, are the parents of three sons. His hobbies include many outdoor activities including golf, fly fishing, hunting and spending time with his family at their cabin in the mountains.
