J. LaMont Keen
President and Chief Executive Officer
Idaho Power Company

J. LaMont Keen assumed the responsibilities of president and chief executive officer of IDACORP on July 1, 2006. He has been president and chief operating officer of Idaho Power since January 2002 and was appointed chief executive officer of Idaho Power in November 2005. Keen also has served on the IDACORP and Idaho Power board of directors since July 15, 2004.

Keen joined Idaho Power in 1975. He has served as an officer of Idaho Power and/or IDACORP since 1988. He has filled numerous positions of responsibility including controller, chief financial officer, as well as senior vice president of Administrative Services for Idaho Power where he had responsibility for all administrative areas of the company including Finance, Information Services, Corporate Services, Human Resources, Legal, Legislative Affairs and Corporate Communications.

Keen also has played an active role in developing IDACORP's subsidiaries, being involved at either the officer or director level in all the company's diversified business ventures.

Keen is a graduate of Albertson College and has completed the Harvard Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program.

He is a board member and a member of the executive committee for the Western Energy Institute. He is also a board member and former chairman of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry. Keen began serving a three-year term on the Edison Electric Institute's board of directors in June 2006.
