Vice Chair at Large Jan Marston Vice President, Human Resources & Operations Governance Terasen Gas, Inc.

Jan is a member of the leadership team and an officer of Terasen Gas. Terasen Gas is an investor owned utility, headquartered in Vancouver, and the largest distributor of natural gas in the Pacific Northwest, serving more than 920,000 customers throughout the Province of British Columbia.

Since joining Terasen in 1996, Jan has held a variety of assignments in both regulated and non-regulated subsidiaries of the Terasen family of companies. Her current area of responsibilities include all aspects of Human Resources, Enterprise Risk, Engineering, Environment, Health & Safety Governance.

Prior to joining Terasen, Jan worked in a variety of marketing and management roles in the energy sector, for companies such as BP Amoco and Sceptre Resources.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, Alberta and has completed the Executive Program at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, Palo Alto , California . She is President of Northwest Gas Association, serves on a variety of other business and community service Boards including Western Energy Institute, Paintearth Energy Services, Women's Health Research Institute, and Technology Education and Careers Council.
