As Vice-President and General Manager of TransCanada U.S. Pipelines West, Jeff Rush is responsible for all aspects of the commercial operations of Gas Transmission Northwest, Tuscarora Gas Transmission, and North Baja Pipeline from its headquarters in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Rush moved into the role in February 2005. Previously, he held the role of vice-president, Gas Development. In that role he was responsible for business development of natural gas pipeline opportunities for TransCanada in western North America. His role included responsibility for TransCanada's investment in the Mackenzie Valley pipeline project. Mr. Rush was also President of TransCanada Pipeline Ventures Ltd., which owns several unregulated gas transmission pipeline systems in Alberta. Mr. Rush has worked in leadership roles in customer service for many years, including roles in Sales, Gas Control and Account Management. He joined NOVA Gas Transmission in 1981. He also spent several years working on international assignments. Mr. Rush is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980. He also earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland in 1998. Mr. Rush also sits on the Board of Directors of the Western Energy Institute, of the Northwest Gas Association and Junior Achievement of Portland. Return to Member Profiles Page |
