This is a hands on meter testing lab with discrete load boxes and watt-hour standards as it was traditionally done before automated field test units were introduced. This allows an “under the hood” look at both the meter being tested as well as the application of the standard.

Overview on transformer connections, and explaining what voltages to expect at the meter base. Describing in simple terms how a transformer works.
