Mark is a graduate of Gettysburg College with a B.A. in Political Science/English and the Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. in April 2001, Mark gained several years experience managing both first and third party claims in his capacity as a Claim Specialist and Claim Manager with State Farm Insurance Companies. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Natural Gas Claims and Litigation Association and the National Structured Settlements Trade Association. Mark holds a Life and Fixed Annuities Insurance Producers license. Prior to assuming his current role, Mark was Senior Litigation Counsel in the Excess General Liability Department.
Rob Ramos is Section Leader of the Claims Organization within SCE’s Law Department. He is responsible for the handling of claims against SCE as well as the pursuit for recovery of damages to SCE facilities caused by other parties. He has over 20 years of claims experience specializing in the investigation, negotiation, and litigation of liability claims.
Ramos, who has been a Claims Manager since 2002, currently serves as Director of Risk & Claims Management. Ramos joined the Company in 1997 as a Field Claims Representative handling the investigation and resolution of liability claims against the Company, including electrical contact and fire-related claims. His current title reflects recognition that his responsibilities increasingly include not only third-party liability claims but also the broader regulatory risks that can be associated with incidents on our electric system.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Business at the University of Southern California. He also obtained his Real Estate License (currently inactive) and is an active member of California Conference of Arson Investigators (CCAI).
Mark Seaton is President of JNR Adjustment Company, Inc., a national collection agency in business since 1970 that specializes in the handling of damage claims for public utilities, car rental companies, commercial fleets and other self-insured’s. JNR handles recovery, defense, arbitration and litigation on behalf of over 40 public utilities nationwide.
