Fleet Management PDT

Program Development Teams (PDTs) are a diverse mix of energy industry professionals responsible for the content creation of programs. Role may involve subject matter expert recruitment, participating in planning meetings and receiving invaluable networking opportunities throughout the entire process. The Chair of this PDT rotates based on the hosted location for the next program session. PDT members provide survey suggestions, identify critical industry issues, share challenges and accomplishments and set the agenda for each session.

Dale Sevy is director of fleet services for Questar Gas, a natural gas utility serving about 870,000 customers in Utah and parts of Wyoming and Idaho. Dale, along with 26 fellow employees in 10 garages, are responsible for the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of about 1,200 utility vehicles and the maintenance of another 600 affiliate-company vehicles. Dale and his team also have helped build one of the nation’s largest and most effective natural gas vehicle (NGV) refueling infrastructures.

Dale graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Utah Valley University. He has held various positions during his 34-year Questar career including: stationary equipment mechanic, automotive service technician, compressed natural gas project coordinator and fleet services supervisor.
