Mike is the Senior Manager of HSE for EPCOR’s Electricity Operations in Edmonton, Alberta. He has been with EPCOR for 31 years and worked in the field as a Powerline Technician for 15 years before moving into the training area for 5 years, then into management for the last 10 years where he has held various management positions.
Billy Roeder is the Skills Training Leader at Idaho Power. Roeder has been with Idaho Power for 18 months after serving 21 years in the United States Air Force. He is responsibly for training Lineman and Stations Apprentices and Journeymen and associated course.
Mark Taylor is the Director, Field Resource Development with ENMAX Power Corporation and has 30 years of experience in the utility industry. Mark leads our field safety, work methods, trades training, apprentice, and safety codes teams. In 2015. Mark received the Certified Utility Safety Professional designation through the Utility Safety and Operations Leadership Network and is the Recording Secretary of the Inter-Utility Overhead Training Association and the Chairman of the WEI Electric Safety and Work Methods.
Jeff Wilding has worked for Pacific Gas & Electric for just over 33 years. Jeff began his career in Power Generation where he became a Journeyman Electrician. In 1993 Jeff moved into the training organization as the Electrical Instructor/Performance Consultant teaching courses and developing apprenticeship programs. From 2000 through 2007 Jeff worked in PG&E’s Labor Relations Department supporting union negotiations and handling grievance cases. In 2008 Jeff rejoined the training organization now called PG&E Academy leading a curriculum development team and eventually became the interim Director of Learning Development and Delivery at the Companies Livermore Training Facility. In 2013 Jeff took on the job of Division Superintendent for the San Francisco Division. In December of 2014 Jeff was asked to lead the Employee Knowledge & Skills program for PG&E Electric Operations Department. He helped design and implement the program before leaving PG&E Academy and is currently assigned as the Manager of the program.
