Program Development Teams (PDTs) are a diverse mix of energy industry professionals responsible for the content creation of programs. The role may involve subject matter expert recruitment, participating in planning meetings and receiving invaluable networking opportunities throughout the entire process. The Customer + Corporate Symposium has nine different PDTs, each focusing on their specific area of expertise across nine unique track offerings.

John Thurmond started with NorthWestern Energy in 1992 as programmer/analyst and is currently the Director of Customer Interactions. As the Director of Customer Interactions, John is responsible for the contact centers in Montana and South Dakota, the distribution dispatching centers in Montana and South Dakota, as well as the walk-in offices in South Dakota and Nebraska.
