Professionals in natural gas energy supply, transportation and storage gather for presentations and roundtable discussions focused on Western North America’s demand outlook and factors expected to influence the cost of delivering natural gas. This collaborative atmosphere, combined with the attendee’s high level of expertise, leads to complex and analytical discussions regarding long-term forecasts, international energy demand, LNG updates, the price of carbon, renewable developments, electric/gas convergence issues, renewable natural gas, and the influence of storage and infrastructure projects.

  • General Cancellation Policy
  • Due to contractual obligations, cancellations received 15 business days prior to the program will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 6 to 14 business days prior to the event will receive a refund, less a $100 administrative fee. No shows and last minute cancellations, 5 business days prior to the event or less, will be responsible for the full registration fee. Substitutions from your organization for the same event are always welcome.

Nate Taylor is the Director of Integrated Infrastructure Planning at SoCalGas where he is responsible for coordinating overall infrastructure planning activities for SoCalGas, including holistically planning for the integration of clean fuels and other decarbonization technologies, and aligning long-range system plans with SoCalGas’ ASPIRE 2045 goals and California’s long-term climate policies.
Previously Nate has held roles in strategic planning and analysis, clean fuels business development, product development and project management at SoCalGas, as well as energy efficiency and demand response research and gas distribution engineering at SDG&E. Nate has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.

Faizal Hassan is currently the Vice President of Environmental Products for Anew and since joining in early 2016, Faizal has focused on educating renewable fuel producers on the process of generating and marketing renewable fuel credits (ex. RINs, CA LCFS Credits). This experience has allowed Faizal to provide project developers/owners the information needed to identify, analyze, and make informed decisions on the best opportunities for value creation in these markets given their portfolio, timing, and risk profile.

Prior to joining Anew, Faizal spent 7 years as an environmental engineer working closely with various state and federal regulatory agencies on permitting (ex. Federal Title V Air Permits, TX NSR Permits) and compliance (ex. BWON, LDAR) for the offshore, power, refining, chemical and petrochemical industries along the Gulf Coast. Faizal Hassan is currently based out of Carlsbad, CA and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
