I have been employed at Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) since 2002. I started as an Electrical Engineer Associate with the Power System Information and Advanced Technology group, supporting the deployment of a Mobile and Enterprise Work Management System, and overseeing the implementation of a $120 million Smart Grid Regional Demonstration Project with Department of Energy. After 9 years, I moved to the Station Test group where I am responsible for leading the Transformer Monitoring Unit Project, and handling emergency on-call requests from LADWP’s Energy Control Center. In 2018, I was given the opportunity to supervise a team that provides Project Management support for the Power Construction and Maintenance (PCM) Division. In October 2019, I was promoted to manage the Project Managements and Controls Section, which includes a total of 23 employees providing Planning and Cost Control support, Maintenance Engineering support, and Fire Protection and Construction Engineering support for PCM.

I received my two B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering in 2002 from UC Irvine, M.S. in Engineering Management in 2006 and Electrical Engineering in 2015 from University of Southern California. I’m a certified professional Electrical Engineer since 2007. I have a 3-year-old daughter. When not working, I enjoy traveling and trying new food with my daughter and my wife.
