Amir Tabakh

Amir Tabakh is the Manager of the LADWP La Kretz Labs and Energy Efficiency Solutions Engineering. His team engages industry leaders to develop the next generation of high efficiency innovations in the campus’ LADWP laboratories.

Throughout his 20+ year career, Amir managed construction activities for high-rise and low-rise structures in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire protection, and Elevators. He has led various local and state committees to implement uniform code, standards, and product certification. His passion to promote sustainability and to explore the nexus between, water, energy, and CO2 emissions sets him apart.

Amir graduated from San Diego State University with Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
