Avideh Razavi

I, Avideh Razavi (Avi) joined SoCalGas in 2011 as the Pipeline Integrity Engineer. Between 2011 and 2022 I held various positions within Pipeline Integrity Data Management, Storage Operations, Underground Storage Operations, and Strategic Integrity Management departments. My current role primarily consists of developing integrity management programs for processing and complex facilities equipment such as compressor stations with a goal of moving the needle towards risk based decision making while enhancing safety. In my previous roles I managed projects that were related to standardization, implementation, and enhancement of integrity management programs such as pressure monitoring installation and enhancement plan, development of corrosion monitoring plan, and other related projects. Prior to SoCalGas, I worked for Schlumberger and the Inland Empire Utilities Agency – A Municipal Water District.
I am currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration Program from University of La Verne and will graduate in 2023.
I have a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.
I received my Associate Degree in Polymer Engineering from Poonak University in Tehran, Iran.
A fun fact about me is that I love mountaineering and mountain biking, I met my husband in 2011 at SoCalGas.
