Brent Pingel

After graduating from the University of Utah, Brent began working in the construction industry as a general contractor and later transitioned into the oil and gas industry. Brent began locating underground facilities for Whiting Petroleum and has spent the last 4 years supervising the damage prevention activities of the South Williston Basin for Whiting Petroleum. Brent’s responsibilities include training, best practice development, public liaison activities, and industry advocacy. With a focus on implementing new technologies to improve accuracy in identifying underground facilities and improving efficiencies, Brent began working with Argis Solutions on implementing augmented reality into Whiting’s damage prevention best practices, which have resulted in the development of new best practices and standard operating procedures. Brent currently resides in Watford City, North Dakota.
