Brian Kretz

Brian Kretz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and, after four years in the manufacturing industry, joined Black Hills Energy in 2006. In his 13 years with the company he as spent time as a Design Engineer, an Operations Supervisor, an Engineering Manager, and is now the Director of Pipeline Safety & Compliance Support in the Gas Engineering Services group. Currently, Brian is harnessing his acute passion for community safety to lead the culture shift required within his company and across the industry to realize an incident-free reality.
