Bruce Barney

As Project Manager for Portland General Electric Customer Energy Resources Group, Bruce manages dispatchable generation projects and the net metering program, which allows customers to interconnect their electricity generation (e.g., solar, wind) to PGE’s grid to offset their own energy use. Previously, Bruce worked in construction management and design-build contracting. He holds degrees in Biology and Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Electrical Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Oregon, and has a 3 kW solar electric system on his home.
