Carol Mak is an engineer by profession, however her passion for problem solving and working with people has led her career down a diverse path in the customer solutions workspace.
Since 2015, Carol has been a Commercial & Industrial Services Manager at Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas). She is currently responsible for leading a team who provides all encompassing, single point of contact customer service and energy solutions for large nonresidential customer accounts (government, manufacturing, special industries). Prior to this, Carol spent ten years serving SoCalGas in various roles with responsibilities that included General Rate Case planning, market outreach/growth strategy, gas curtailments, developing and managing new products and services, and advising in rates and tariffs.
Carol has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
