Carol Mak is director of the Construction – Program Management Office at Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), a Sempra regulated California utility. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the strategic capital delivery of our major pipeline safety programs and asset modernization portfolios.
Previously, Mak was manager of regulatory strategy and financial controls of Integrity Management at SoCalGas overseeing the strategic implementation of emerging storage and pipeline integrity regulations, program development, policy, and compliance planning. Since joining SoCalGas as an engineering intern in 2005, Mak has held roles with increasing responsibilities in engineering, regulatory, policy, market development, commercial and industrial services, and underground gas storage.
Mak has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
