Carolyn Loos

As Director of TD Performance Management, Carolyn Loos is part of an aggressive and energetic team directing NorthWestern Energy’s corporate strategy. NorthWestern Energy is an investor-owned utility providing electricity and natural gas to roughly 678,000 customers in Montana, Nebraska and South Dakota. Carolyn and her staff of five analysts and engineers have responsibility for project management office controls and monitoring; continued process excellence and improvement; performance metrics; operational benchmarking; and business continuity for functional areas within the company’s energy transmission and distribution groups.

During her 20-year career with NorthWestern Energy, Carolyn has had the opportunity to work with increasing responsibilities for Business Development, Internal Audit, Corporate Accounting, Generation Interconnection, Trading and Marketing, Gas Transmission, and Division Operations.

Carolyn, who is a Montana native, is an alumna of Montana State University. She and her husband Donroy and their two children, Emily and Eric, take full advantage of year-around outdoor activities including boating, fishing, hunting, camping and skiing. She also enjoys following her grade-school age children in their sporting and school activities.
