Chris Stinski

Chris Stinski is the Section Supervisor of Distribution Maintenance for the 3rd largest public power company in the U.S. He has been at Salt River Project or SRP, which is in Tempe, Arizona, for more than 12 years.

Chris’s experience in the utility industry is diverse. He started his career as an apprentice where he worked in New Business, Distribution Improvements, Transmission Maintenance, and Reactive Maintenance. As a Journeyman Lineman, Chris worked in Reactive Maintenance and Pole replacement program. He then progressed to Working Foreman in Pole Replacement and Reactive Maintenance. During this time, Chris was on various committees and became Chairman of the Divisional Safety Committee. Currently working as Section Supervisor in Reactive Maintenance, Chris is responsible for keeping over one million SRP customers in power. His responsibilities include organizing crews to work emergency callouts while maintaining safe and effective work and procedures while maintaining and repairing overhead and underground equipment to keep the power system running smoothly.
