Christine Plante

I have been employed at FortisBC since 2005 where I started as a Customer Service Representative. I have performed many roles while at FortisBC. I’ve been in my current role since 2011 where, initially, I had a very small team whose main responsibility was to act as a bridge between the business and information systems, specifically for the electric Customer Information System (CIS). Over the last seven years, the team has tripled and our portfolio has expanded to include our Meter Data Management system (MDMS), Mobile Workforce Management system (MWFM), Outage Management System (OMS) as well as several other new integrations with our CIS. In September of 2013, I was given the opportunity to act as a Project Manager for the technology portion of our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project which was successfully implemented in July of 2015. This year, I’m excited to bring our gas team under my portfolio along with several gas applications include SAP (billing & metering), CIC, Account Online and our Mobile App. I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Business Analysis certificate. I have lived in four countries and eight provinces. I am married and love to travel.
