Cody Shepherd

With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry, Cody has operated in the roles of Software Developer, System Administrator, Database Administrator, Network Administrator, Team Leader, IT Manager, and now the Senior Manager of IT Operations for Idaho Power. Cody has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and a Master of Business Administration as well as numerous industry technical certifications, Certified Scrum Master, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Before coming to Idaho Power, Cody was the Retail Information Systems Manager for WinCo Foods and it was there he nurtured his passion for delivering premium Customer Service as well as discovering creative technical solutions successfully on very slim budgets. At Idaho Power, Cody oversees all facets of IT Operations including: Compute, Storage, Cloud, DR, Compliance, ITSM, Service Desk, Enterprise App Support, Networking, Telecom, Desktop Services, Operational Security, and MMC (Messaging, Mobility, and Collaboration). When he is not working, Cody is an avid traveler, loves camping and fishing, and trains extensively in Brazilian Jiujitsu.
