Conrad Eustis

Conrad Eustis has 43 years of experience working in the energy industry including 5 years in nuclear submarines and 33 years at Portland General Electric. This experience was built on a foundation of technical education from Brown and Carnegie-Mellon Universities. Since 1993 Conrad has implemented more than twenty innovative residential “smart grid” platforms to increase utility and customer benefits in the areas of metering, demand response, storage, and renewable energy integration. He co-taught the PSU’s course: Designing the Smart Grid for Sustainable Communities. His expertise has been recognized by several national awards and testimony on smart grid standards to the U.S. House Subcommittee on Technology and Innovation. He is currently writing a book about how to achieve 100% sustainable energy use.
