Cory Mitsui

Cory Mitsui (PE, MBA), currently San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) Substation Engineering & Design Manger began his career with the company in 2005. A graduate in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, he has held previous positions within SDG&E in Distribution Regional Operations, Project Management, Electric Distribution Engineering, and Substation/Transmission Construction & Maintenance. The majority of Cory’s 10 years’ experience in the electric utility industry was in Substation Construction & Maintenance, where his team oversaw the maintenance and asset management of SDG&E’s electric transmission, substation, and protection infrastructure. His new assignment places him in a role to oversee the electrical and structural substation design and substation apparatus ordering for San Diego Gas & Electric.
