Craig Rogers joined the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada as a Gas Pipeline Engineer in August 2007. In this role, Rogers conducts inspections, investigations, and audits of gas utility operations, and performs field inspections and investigations relating to excavation damage prevention for all utilities, including electric, gas, telecommunications, water and wastewater.
Rogers has over 22 years of experience in utility damage prevention in both the public and private sectors in Nevada, Utah, California and Montana, including experience serving on multiple boards and committees overseeing utility damage prevention in Nevada and Utah. Rogers has also taken multiple gas pipeline safety courses provided by the Department of Pipeline and Hazard Materials Safety Administration. Rogers earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Montana State University. Rogers currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Underground Service Alert North and the Nevada Regional Common Ground Alliance.
