Dale Rieberger

I have been employed at FortisBC since 1997. I started as a CO-OP student in the help desk group. Before graduating from Colleague I had a temporary position performing odd jobs on the weekends. After I graduated I started as a technical analyst for a couple years and then moved into a system analyst role where I was responsible for supporting our internal and external websites. I progressed into becoming a SAP developer supporting the HR and Finance groups for a few years. I then proceeded to move into a supervisor role sometime around 2007. My responsibilities where to be oversight for the entire IS group and to interact with all the vendors. From there I was promoted to Manger IS operations which had the same oversight as before but now included the electric scada operations. More recently in 2015 I was encouraged to take on a new role as Manager of Cyber Security.
