Dan Nunez has been with Bonneville Power Administration since 2009 . He started as a transmission line designer working both lattice and wood design. In 2015 Dan moved into asset management risk and strategy to develop a methodology to prioritize BPA’s transmission investment decisions both maintenance and capital. Since then he has been implementing risk based planning into all parts of the Transmission business utilizing Institute of Asset Management (IAM) and International Standards Organization (ISO) as the guiding frameworks for quantifying risk with data to inform processes, contracts and investment actions. Dan graduated from California Polytechnic with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with certificates of IAM, PMP and EIT.
