Darrell Johnson

Darrell Johnson is Environmental Programs Manager for Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas). He is responsible for overseeing environmental compliance for SoCalGas Operations. Johnson has specialized in the environmental arena for the past 27 years of which 14 years have been with the Sempra Utilities. Prior to joining SoCalGas, Johnson was an Air Quality Engineer for South Coast Air Quality Management District. Darrell has been closely involved with climate legislative and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) efforts for the Gas Company since 2002, and managed the GHG Inventory Reporting Program from its inception, which includes inventory reporting to the Climate Registry (TCR), the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) GHG and Natural Gas Star Programs. Johnson has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Saint Martins University in Olympia Washington.
