Dave Lewis

David Lewis is currently the Director – Wholesale Marketing & Business Development with Gas Operations for Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E). In this role, David leads a team responsible for marketing the company’s gas pipeline transportation and gas storage assets totaling more than $1.0 billion per year in revenue. In addition, David’s organization leads the process for interconnection of new projects to the gas transmission system and for business development.
Prior to this role, David held a variety of positions as a Director in PG&E’s Energy Procurement organization including leading commercial solicitations, transactions, strategy and policy efforts.
David has more than 20 years of energy industry experience including project finance, asset management, origination, power purchase agreement negotiation, project acquisition and business development across both conventional and renewable technologies. Prior to joining PG&E, he worked in the independent power industry for Calpine Corporation and for Third Planet Windpower, LLC. David has managed the project financing of more than $ 7.0 billion in energy projects across the United States as well as negotiated both short and long-term power purchases agreements and project acquisitions.
David has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California – Los Angeles and a Masters of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
