DeAngeloa Wells has worked at Portland General Electric (PGE) since October 1999. She began her PGE career as the Director for Human Resource Operations where she was responsible for Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Staffing and Recruitment. After completing a 3-year developmental assignment leading Meter Data Operations, in August 2009, she headed back to Human Resources to oversee Talent Management. In 2018, she stood up PGE’s Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion where she is leading efforts to make meaningful cultural changes.
Before coming to Portland General Electric, she worked for NIKE, Inc. as the US Human Resource Director for 4000 employees across the United States. She also spent 12 years as a Human Resources Director at Nordstrom. She has 30+ years of Human Resources Management experience.
A native Oregonian, DeAngeloa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling at George Fox University.
Within PGE, she has served on several Executive Steering Committees was on the PGE Foundation Board. Outside of PGE, she continues to be an active member and advisor on various Boards including 2020 Leadership Council for Women on Boards.
A native Oregonian, she resides in Portland with her husband, C.T. Wells. She spends her free time reading, powerwalking, volunteering in the community and leading numerous activities at Emmanuel Church where her husband is Senior Pastor.
