DeAngeloa Wells has worked at Portland General Electric (PGE) since October 1999. She began her PGE career as the Director for Human Resource Operations where she was responsible for Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Staffing and Recruitment and Equal Employment Opportunity. She remained in that position until May 2006 when she was tapped for an assignment Managing Meter Data Acquisitions. In August 2009, she headed back to Human Resources to become General Manager of PGE’s Talent Management Organization.
Before coming to Portland General Electric, she worked for NIKE, Inc. as a US Human Resource Director for 4000 employees across the United States. She also spent 12 years as a manager at Nordstrom. She has 30+ years of Human Resources Management experience.
A native Oregonian, DeAngeloa holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management. Within PGE, she serves on a number of Executive Committees and recently served on the PGE Foundation Board. Outside of PGE, she has served on various Boards and has done a great deal of work in the community.
She resides in Portland, with her husband, C. T. and has two adult daughters, Chastity and Ashlei. Wells spends her free time reading, power-walking, and leading numerous departments and activities at Emmanuel Church where her husband is Senior Pastor.
