Eric Strawn

Senior Electrical Mechanic with a machinist/manufacturing background. Eric started with LADWP in 2005 and has been the lead person of the CBLE Group from its inception. He is responsible for creating the process of efficiently overhauling the operating mechanisms, electing the correct lubrication mediums, appropriate gasket materials, springs and all consumable items. Eric is instrumental in creating the specialized tools needed to overhaul the components and the tools required to remove and install the operating components. He coaches the journeymen, Seniors and trains the new trainees on this process. Eric is also responsible for placing all orders to maintain stock and inventory of supplies to keep the CBLE shop running at maximum efficiency.
