Garnet Hanly

Garnet Hanly is Division Chief in the Competition and Infrastructure Policy Division, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, at the FCC where she focuses on wireless competition and infrastructure matters. Prior to joining the FCC, Garnet was Senior Counsel for T-Mobile USA, Inc. from 2008 to 2011, Director of State Regulatory for Sprint Nextel Corporation from 2005 to 2008, and prior to that served as counsel for Nextel Communications. Prior to working on Nextel, Garnet served as an associate in private practice involving mergers/acquisitions. Garnet received her JD from Suffolk University Law School and received a BA from George Mason University.
