George Waidelich

George Waidelich is Vice President – Energy Operations, for The Albertsons Companies. In his position George is responsible for the management of all electric and natural gas operations and for key components of the company’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHG) & Sustainability Program. All renewable energy, energy efficiency and storage operations fall under George’s leadership.

George graduated from the Unites States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Science. While on active duty he received his Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance. After completing seven years of active service in the Navy’s surface line community, George joined Pacific Gas & Electric Company to begin his energy career.
