Jacob Heimaster

Jake Heimaster is the Construction Manager of the Electric Safety Center (ESC) in the Electric Regional Operations division at San Diego Gas and Electric Company (SDG&E). He began his career at the utility in 2003 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in Gas Construction, Electric Regional Operations, Electric Distribution Engineering, and the Aviation Services Department. Jake began the utility line work chapter of his career in 2007, achieving the classification of Journeyman Lineman in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University and has a certificate in Aviation Safety from the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California. In his current role, he is able to combine his passion for safety with his knowledge of the lineman trade and truly enjoys what he does on daily basis, working to improve job site and work practice safety for those around him.
