Jae Lee

Jae Lee is a Principal Engineer with Xcel Energy in Denver, Colorado. He has been with Xcel Energy for the past three years in the Transmission System Performance group which is responsible for developing asset renewal plans and asset management strategies for Xcel Energy’s transmission line assets.

Since 2018, he has been part of the wildfire risk mitigation team in charge of developing and implementing the Wildfire Risk Mitigation Plan for Xcel Energy assets in Colorado.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds Civil Engineering PE licenses in Texas and Colorado. Jae has 9 years of experience in the utility industry.
