James Baldwin

James Baldwin has 5 years of experience in the utility industry. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Willamette University in 2012. He began his career at Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) in vegetation management as a Utility Forester. In March 2017, James was selected to be an Enterprise Risk Analyst. His previous experiences working with a wide array of departments at Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) enables him to effectively work interdepartmentally to analyze and assess risk and recommend various risk mitigation techniques.

Along with his risk management work, James is EWEB’s primary claims adjuster. His function in this role is to address the risk associated with liability and recovery claims. He does this by recovering the costs EWEB incurs from a responsible party and by thoroughly investigating all liability claims to ensure EWEB only pays for damages or costs they are legally liable for.
