James Couch

James started his career ATCO Electric 30 years ago and is currently an Operations Supervisor role. He is responsible for the supervision of 15 field based electrical utility employees, and for customer relationships/requirements for 3 Rural Electrification Associations, 2 franchise communities, and 7 towns/hamlets, as well as rural customers throughout the service territory. He previously worked for a number of years in field based roles in warehousing, electrical construction, and electrical customer service. He moved into ATCO Electric’s System Operations Centre in 2011 and progressed his way through various roles from being a system operator up to becoming the Superintendent of System Operations in 2017. He is an active member in the community having coached hockey through various levels for 25 years. He currently resides in Vegreville, Alberta, Canada with his family.
