James Dykes

I am the EIM Technology Program Manager at Avista with 9+ years of experience working in technology and power and energy markets. At Avista, I’m helping to lead the teams tasked with implementing eight new application systems that are necessary to participate in the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) as well as upgrading the network communications at Avista’s generation plants and substation interchange sites for the collection of Avista’s Settlement Quality Meter Data (SQMD). I received my B.A. in Business Administration from Whitworth University in 2009. Prior to joining Avista, I worked at Benton PUD, Franklin PUD, Lockheed Martin and US Bank. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, Krista, and two daughters, Kamryn and Elsie, serving my local community, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
