James Kane

As an experienced Operations Leader, Jim Kane has worked at Avista Utilities for 29 years and has led a variety of innovative projects including the development of Avista’s Safety System and Avista’s Field Leadership Training Program. Jim’s positions cover a broad spectrum including: Journeyman Lineman, Instructor of Apprentice and Linemen Training Programs, General Foreman, and Operations Manager. Currently, as Operations Manager, Jim is responsible for all electric distribution and transmission, including capital and maintenance projects, in North Idaho and Western Montana, as well as natural gas delivery in North Idaho.
