James Pierce

James Pierce leads Ameren’s drone operations through its Central UAS Department, formed in late 2017. James brings with him 20+ years’ experience in engineering, geospatial practice and 8+ years working with drones across a variety of industries including mining and utilities. James currently oversees a team of 20+ pilots, data scientists and analysts all tasked with bringing inspections and analysis of utility assets into the future through implementation of new technology and practices.
