Jane Allen

Jane Allen is Senior Vice President, Strategy & Innovation at Hydro One, Ontario’s largest electricity transmission and distribution company, where she is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the company. Prior to joining Hydro One, Jane was a Partner at Deloitte and leader of the utilities consulting practice, advising companies on strategic growth plans, and operational excellence. She has led large-scale business transformations involving governance, culture, process and technology changes. Jane was also responsible for leading Deloitte’s renewable energy practice worldwide. Jane was a member of Deloitte Canada’s Board of Directors, and she was Deloitte’s first Chief Diversity Officer –
she and Deloitte received numerous awards for their impact on the firm and the broader business community. Jane currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Centres of Excellence and the Board of Governors of McMaster University.
