Jason Jones

Jason Jones is the Enterprise Risk Management Consultant at NorthWestern Energy in Butte, Montana where he has primary responsibility for identifying risks and developing mitigation plans including the 3rd Party Security Risk Management Program. Prior to NorthWestern Energy, Jason was the CFO and Treasurer of the Board of Directors for a mid-sized corporation in the wood products industry. He began his career as a Senior Financial & IT Auditor for a $3B investment holding company. He also works part-time as an adjunct instructor for Colorado State University in the Accounting and Finance courses of the MBA program. Jason received his B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Colorado State University. He is a licensed CPA and has also earned the Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information Systems Auditor designations. He lives in Deer Lodge, MT with his wife and 7 children at home (9 total).
