Jeff Webb

Jeff Webb grew up in the small town of Buckley, Washington. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army where he served as a helicopter co-pilot for six years. He then attended the University of Washington and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He started his utility career in 2000 with Puget Sound Energy working in both the Gas Operations Planning and Gas Engineering Departments. At PSE, he gained experience with system modeling, CNG, LNG, large regulating station design, and gate station design.

In 2007, Jeff moved to Spokane and began working for Avista in their Gas Engineering Department as a Distribution Design Engineer. At Avista he designed and project managed high pressure gas mainline projects, industrial meter sets, district regulating stations, and gate stations. Since 2013, he has been Manager of the Gas Engineering Department which includes the Gas Planning, Gas Telemetry, Gas Meter Shop, and Cathodic Protection groups. Jeff is a licensed PE in both Washington and Oregon States, an active member of the Engineering Committee with AGA, and a board member of the Western Gas Measurement Short Course. He resides in North Spokane with his wife, four children, and 2 grandchildren.
