Jerry Cox

Jerry Cox has 25 years’ experience working in telecommunications and network design and implementation. Jerry has been with PGE 12 years and currently heads the field operations as the General Foreman of the Substations Communications Support department at PGE. This department is responsible for building and operating one of the largest private communications systems in Oregon, interconnecting PGE facilities within the service territory and generation plants including mobile radio, fiber optic and microwave networks. Prior to PGE, Jerry’s professional experience includes active duty service as a US Navy Surface Warfare Officer, Infrastructure/Telecom manager in the insurance industry and as a contractor working designing and implementing high speed networking projects at NASA, Wells Fargo Bank, Dow Chemical and other large companies.
