Jesse Duffy is a Substation Maintenance Engineer at Portland General Electric. He obtained his BSEE from Oregon State University in 2004 and is a licensed Professional Engineer. In his 14 years with PGE, the majority of his experience lies in the maintenance and operation of substations and switchyards, but he has also dabbled in substation design and was a key player in the design and implementation of PGE’s asset and work management system. Jesse has also co-authored a paper on improved FOA transformer cooling protection, contributed to the update of the Doble Circuit Breaker Lubrication Guide, and is a member of the Doble Client Committee on Circuit Breakers. Jesse and his wife have 7 children, and he enjoys spending time with his family, homeschooling, apologetics, and occasionally working on automobiles.
