Jim McAdams

Jim McAdams, Director (Transmission & Distribution), Cupertino Electric Inc.

Jim has over 21 years of experience in the California Gas & Electric Utility industry comprised of both IOU and contractor experience. As the director of projects for Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI)’s Energy Infrastructure Division, Jim is responsible for all aspects of transmission and distribution utility projects, including estimating, procurement, construction, work methods, safety and customer relations. Jim also oversees project controls, operations, project completion (on time and on budget), and customer satisfaction.
Prior to joining Cupertino Electric, Jim held various positions in his 20+ yr. career at Pacific Gas & Electric progressing from Lineman to Sr. Manager of Safety & Health for PG&E’s Electric Operations Organization. During the last several years Jim has enjoyed pioneering industry-leading employee qualification projects and creating high-performing work environments in a fast paced and highly regulated environment.
